Pic Saint-Loup

This is the legendary natural beacon for the entire Montpellier region.

An easy hour-and-a-half hike will take you to the summit, from where the garrigue landscape spreads out before you. The superb panorama over the entire coastal area is well worth the effort.

When there's a full moon, a few regulars climb to its top to dine in the tiny chapel, and always extend a warm welcome to newcomers.
